West Borneo

West borneo is a province of Indonesia. It’s one of of four Inodesian Provinces in kalimantan. The Indonesian part of the the island of Borneo. It’s capital city Pontianak is located right on the equator line.

The Malay ethnic group is distinct from the concept of a malay race, which encompasses a wider group of people, including most of Indonesia and Philippines. The Malays belong to the Deutero malay (melayu Muda), which is part of the second great wave of migration of Malay – Austronesian rate from mainland Asia which occured around 300 BC. In the 7th century, people living in downstream river batang hari, Jambi Malays from the kingdom. And the term was taken from a malay kingdom. Geographically, the first Malay kingdom refers only to the region which covers an aread of central sumatera. In it’s development, the malay kingdom finally subdued and replaced bythe kingdom of sriwijaya, based in Palembang.
